Is it ok to add a link to the page the image was found on? I have a shit load of images on a drive i borrowed to a friend and i know the sites the images where found on but not the direct URL. Some source is better the no source right?
If you know the artist, the artist wiki will provide the link. That said, I have done what you're suggesting: linking to the site but not directly to the image, if the image cannot be found.
