Nest tags- actual literal nests.

Posted under General

So I created In_nest for post #7256798 seeing as there wasn't one already and populated it a bit. But when populating I ran into the issue of there being the distinct trope of human beings thrown into giant birds nests post #4232989 post #4001480 post #5623616 post #2541312 (The last of which is fucking adorable and cozy looking btw) and how people would look for that when in_nest also covers normal bird chicks in nests like post #2925295 or pokemon post #6689517 and if that should have a seperate subcategory tag? (I do NOT want a situation where in_nest doesn't apply to chicks in nests). Maybe something like person_in_nest or giant_nest. But then how do we define a person? does a harpy in a nest count? what about humanoid_in_nest? Do we just use whatever definition of person is used in mini_person?

Nest is already a small tag so I don't want it to be too padded.

Also does the nest have to be big? in this it looks like the character was just shrunk post #3825624

What do we name this?

I can see a tag like that being useful, I would propose calling it nest_visit, for when something decidedly not birdlike or you would otherwise expect to live in a nest is in one, it would include humans and non-bird animals or pokémon/creatures, but not something like harpies.

Nest visit, that's a clever one. I was in conflict over the size of nests and wheter to use human/person/humanoid/etc.

Disagree on harpies as stuff like this post #2618610 post #2683100 might not want to be what I see when filtering out humanoids in nests.

I don't see the issue with the tag covering humans and animals, small and big nests. The way the wiki is written now is fine imo, -1 for nest_visit.

I still think it would be good to be able to filter for that specific trope. I wanted whatever term we agreed on the imply in_nest. Such as nest_visit -> in_nest for instance.

I tried now and yeah, you can't really search for humans in a nest. I think the name of the proposed tag isn't intuitive and I'm not a fan of its usage. You can use pokemon_(creature) and monster_girl to search for pokémons and monster girls, so for now, maybe a tag covering humans and/or one covering animals and creatures in a nest could be enough to further filter the posts. What about person_in_nest?
