I have only heard people in real life call her "nu".
I disagree with this highly, v-13 is pretty much the standard notation for everyone.
Suggested
v-13 -> ν-13
nu-13 -> ν-13
Edit: apparently nu (ν) doesn't show up properly on danbooru.

Mixed 3-2 opinions so far and something I know absolutely nothing about. Yay!
So Wiki and the English site just use a v (likely for convenience), while the official Japanese site "spells" the name out as ニュー and uses the Greek letter. Of course we can't use the Greek alphabet letter as everyone seems to agree. Tags are basic characters only.
I actually don't know if we have any precedent on this. It's similar to umlauts and cedillas and the like but sorta... different. But close enough I suppose. I'm going to alias nu to v, I think. But only because, from what I understand, 'v' is the more common way it's written out in English, correct? If nu is more popular among Blazblue fans, I'll reverse it.

I think it goes back again to what fans of the series are used to using. Do people usually call that the v_gundam, and we made it nu_gundam anyway? Or are people already used to calling it the nu_gundam?
I guess I was looking more for somewhere where this was discussed and a specific decision made. nu_gundam is precedent, though not one that was ever scrutinized from what I can tell.
Since this is going to be a pretty uncommon situation, I'm basically okay with just going with "what people are used to" in this case.

The name is universally written as v-13, as the simplest way of writing it without using the symbol. The only alternate people tend to use is "Nu".

My friend owns the game, and I could swear I heard the announcer say "Nu 13" at the character select screen. I think that should be the decider.
I'll post back after checking.
edit: The announcer actually just calls her "Nu". Which would make sense, with nu being the 13th letter of the Greek alphabet.
edit: vote changed to nu_(blazblue)

Possibility: Use nu_(blazblue) instead. (nu is already taken by the Chrono Trigger thing.)
I prefer v-13 to nu_(blazblue) simply because I dislike unnecessary qualifiers. Either way is fine, though.
Since there was some debate about using nu-13, and because it's unlikely to cause a conflict in the future, I would suggest aliasing it to whatever we decide on. Also, there should be a link in the nu wiki to whichever tag we decide on.
