AI-generated with some pretty bad manual editing. I wouldn’t accept it, but some users consider that AI-assisted and acceptable.

It's really weird, as that artist's reputation as a whole clearly shows they are legit capable of drawing, and their prior works posted on DB have no obvious telltale signs of AI. Though I can see that comment #2290680 indicated that their three most recent works unintentionally had an uncanny resemblance to AI-gen shading, but does have WIP images (https://twitter.com/sion_asanagi/status/1613681003910041600 and https://twitter.com/sion_asanagi/status/1613516071008632834), dispelling suspicion of him using an AI generator. Given his reputation as an already capable artist, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he's not using AI.

Definitely yes. The artist has put some of their own sketches through img2img AI without any further editing.
hitta_99 only uploads AI artwork on their Pixiv and Twitter, their first Pixiv upload being right around the time NovelAI released, and their first tweet using a prompt that become quite commonly used on /h/. Their work here is tagged as ai-assisted but the only extra work done is adding text or putting the artwork into templates. Very positive post #5827113 is using an embedding to replicate free_style_(yohan1754) artstyle as well.

First post has weirdness around the hands and eyebrows, second has hair and electricity merging into the hoodie. In general, if you check an artist's page and find very amateur stuff before their AI art, that's a very good indicator that they aren't hand-drawing anymore.
