It's a slightly older post and the artstyle definitely is the earlier aigen style, plus with the inconsistency you mentioned I really doubt this is not ai generated.
As for comment #2284868, the background has some weird lines making me believe that it's more of a collage of generated images, it's difficult to call that assisted even.
AI check for haruyuki_(karem) please. May need some gardening too due to lack of ai-assisted tags if applicable.
I'm certain that they either fit the bill of ai-assisted, if not outright ai-generated. Their profile picture on Twitter is absolutely the latter, the former is what I'm looking to check. They have lineart previews on their Twitter page however I assume they use AI to complete the rest of the picture. I think the shading is a dead giveaway but just want to check with a second set of eyes.
Here on Danbooru, their arts are inconsistently tagged. They have surviving posts that are ai-generated, others tagged as ai-assisted, and arts that clearly have AI-involvement but are not tagged as either such as post #7416348.
Removed the ai-generated tag added to this one, and it got readded by some gold member and now people are calling AI in the comments.

The raised hand definitely can’t turn that way. (Point your right elbow forward, your lower arm upward and then try to make your palm face to the right.) The lower hand also has an index finger and a pinky that are missing a phalanx bone each, like a thumb, and there are only three knuckles. The length of the phalanx bones on both hands is also quite inconsistent. These are errors that I’ve seen a lot with newer AI art that has hands that actually look like hands at first glance, unlike the older AI art.
Linework and coloring is pretty clean, so it’s not fully generated but rather traced.

I have no idea which legs are allegedly turning into hands, they all seem to be accounted for. No idea what the second part of the flag even means tbh.

That looks wildly different from the post in question, which looks like pretty plain AI.
This was flagged as being ai-generated, I'm assuming by @Arcana55, and I really don't see any evidence for it. It matches the artist's other works in style, and the artist has no history of AI.
