What about cases where the actual zipper itself isn't drawn, or is hardly even visible? Seems a bit like overkill. I'd suggest just adding it manually when needed.

What is the statistical ratio of "non-visible-zippers" to Visible zippers? I would say that the implication still is valid. More work to manually tag (meaning it likely will not happen) than the few cases where the zipper itself is not visible.

Yet technically to be unzipped, there has to be a zipper. Otherwise it would be un-"something-else"ed. You are looking for accuracy right?

There might be a zipper but with it not visible. That's pretty easy to imagine, really. Zippers aren't particularly large necessarily, and often there are often flanges on the things that are attached by the zipper, expressly for the purpose of hiding the zipper. In such a case, I don't think the post should be tagged zipper, even if the garment is half-unfastened in a manner that suggests a zipper is holding together the other half of it.
