Some tumblr image links (such as the ones in the source field for post #3807519, post #3832027, and post #3961215) have a redirect to the tumblr post. It seems to not show up on tumblr posts older than March 2015, as the oldest example of this I could find with a cursory search is post #2307153, but that's just a guess. Anyways, would it be possible to use this to automate more bad link correction (or do it manually, worst case scenario)?

There are a bunch of posts under bad_nicoseiga_id source:*lohas that weren't marked with bad_link and haven't been fixed.

Actually, you *can* find posts older like that this way. The oldest example I could find is from 2008: post #285677. I think it's mostly a matter of whether or not a post still exists.

Now I'm confused, because I've seen that show up for deleted tumblr posts, such as post #2451902.

Bump. I'd like to get confirmation on whether or not it'd be possible to automate this.
I'm going to assume that the answer is no. I'll add source_request to any bad link tumblr posts that I can't find the proper source for.

This option might not always be available. I tried it a few days back, but it didn't work, but today it did, no problem.
One thing I'd also keep in mind for fixing bad links is that a lot of such Danbooru posts might also be lacking a commentary. If the automated source updating feature is implemented, then that should be also kept in mind.
I've started fixing those urls. I'll schedule a hourly check for new posts. Let me know if you see something weird going on.
Do you have an example for data.tumblr.com urls? I couldn't find a working one in the urls I tried.

Done. Nuked around 900 posts.
There's still a hundred or so posts left, a few have saucenao results but I couldn't automate it because it was revisions or bad metadata, so they'll have to be done manually.
