Same character (Love Hina). I think it's best to take the "U" off the name.

Stop that. This is yet another instance where you go fully against our tagging practice and propose dropping long vowels. They're NOT insignificant, it makes about as much sense as "taking the U off" your nick. It's a completely different name.

UmOkay
This is actually the 'first topic I even suggested a characters name that ended in "U" - to be removed. I didn't realize that there was some policy about it. 'Keitaro' was already created and tagged, so I figured that's what would be used. Since Keitarō represented the long vowel.
It's just what I am use to seeing.

I don't remember making any other topic.
Unless you talking about the kakigori and the missing "O"?
I never created the kakigori tag, I just found it that way. And following the tags current spelling, I thought that is what Danbooru wanted it as.

It was a mistake, and I will be careful next time.

Not getting the hostility though?

Then she'd be a Nico Nico mascot!

Anyway uh, I'll do the alias (in the opposite direction of course) although "the licensed release does it too" generally won't be criteria because "official" translations love screwing around with romanization styles and long vowels and name order for shits and giggles. To alias all the examples would be lunacy.

Aliased to _keitarou.
