Artist wiki entries?

Posted under General

I was just adding an entry for an artist フロッグケロ (frogkero) and when I clicked 'edit' it brought up the page with all the different entry boxes like in the Artist Wiki itself. I wasn't sure where to add the japanese name though. Will wiki entries for artists still exist in the old way too or...? Because after I entered the info (the basic stuff, english name and url) it didn't show up when I searched the wiki for frogkero.

Hmm, still seems a little confusing though. From the page it makes for the artist after you edit it, can you still do a "view posts"? It seems like I can for the Alias (which finds no posts since it's the japanese), but not for the actual name.

Ok this is where I'm confused.

I looked at the site for this image: http://miezaru.donmai.us/post/show/120634

I found the artist's name (Kazuoki, カズオキ). I tagged the image artist:kazuoki. Then I clicked the '?' and was brought to the edit form.

Under Name I put "kazuoki". Under Alias I put "カズオキ" since you said Japanese can go in as an alias.

When I view the entry, however, I see http://miezaru.donmai.us/artist/show/5884 which only has a 'view posts' option if you click 'カズオキ'. Even though kazuoki went in as name, it's listed as 'alias for' instead of the Japanese being alias for the English o_O

What am I doing wrong?

Quick question again about these:

Would it be a good idea for the default page to be /show (as in http://miezaru.donmai.us/artist/show/5256 ) rather than /edit?

I mean this for when you click the '?' next to an artist tag when viewing a post or a list of posts. I can see why you'd want to default to /edit the first time, if it's empty, but is there any way to make artist tags with existing wiki entries default to /show so we can use all the wiki features without resaving it first?
