Pool for KanColle carrier group

Proposing a KanColle pool about Akagi, Kaga, Shoukaku, Zuikaku, Souryuu and Hiryuu, the six aircraft carriers that attacked Pearl Harbor. Because of this connection there are quite a few images with them together, but because there are six it's difficult to search them without a platinum account.
The pool would include images that feature all six of them (and prominently so no everyone posts). Examples: post #1693073 post #1665540.
Because of Pearl Harbor being a sensitive topic, should the pool name reference it or is there a better way to call this particular carrier group?

Pools that can be replaced with a Platinum-level tag search are assumed to exist only to circumvent the tag search limit and are usually deleted. To justify the creation of such a character group pool, it must have a theme that cannot easily be recreated with a combination of tags.

Pools that are created only to get around the tag limit are generally not looked upon too kindly here. It has to be something that can't be captured purely through a combination of tags alone.

That's pretty weird considering that there's already plenty of "character group" pools. Touhou in particular has a lot like pool #4169 or pool #1053. Both of those pools could be replaced by a combination of tags (the characters in the group) so if those are accepted I see no reason why this one can't.

Well the first one states "doing family-esque business." which isn't really a tagable concept. The second one states "Pictures that group together at least three of the Old Maids" which isn't really searchable either.

According to the description, pool #4169 should contain images of "doing family-esque business", which makes it a reasonable subject for a pool as that's far too subjective to tag. The other pool is pretty guilty of just collecting characters, but it could be pared down to posts that reference them being 'old maids' in some way. "It mirrors a subjective pixiv tag in common use" seems like it might also justify a pool's existence to some degree.

The topic suggestion could make a worthwhile pool if it were specifically limited to posts that directly reference Pearl Harbor, though I don't know how many of those there are.

Second one is absolutely searchable specially if you use ~ for multiple tags. In any case there's also pool #2233 which doesn't have any untaggable criteria, just the presence of the corresponding characters in the image, so there isn't really any difference from my proposed pool.

Those pools have multiple groups of characters that must be present. Each pool could be replaced with multiple searches, but not one. It’s currently not possible to do a search like this: (A and B) or (C and D) I’m not sure how you would emulate the second pool with ~ tags. It’s not possible to specify “at least three ~ tags must be present”, so the search would return anything with at least one of the characters.

Character pools are scrutinized harshly and are usually deleted, but not always. The mentioned pools are already borderline cases and may face deletion sometime in the future.

You can go ahead and create the pool you suggested, but don’t be too disappointed if it ends up deleted. I wouldn’t create it because as a simple six-tag search, I think it sits on the deletion side of the borderline unless you come up with some additional theme or requirement.

If there is to be a pool themed around participants in the attack on Pearl Harbor, must it be limited to the carriers? I don't see why such a pool couldn't also include Hiei, Tone, Ushio, I-19, etc.

I mentioned only the carriers because those are mostly the ones that appear together in fanart, since they were the most directly responsible for the attack. Plus they come in three pairs of sisters (Akagi and Kaga aren't really sister ships but you get the idea).

Now that you mention it, several years ago there was a pool for the Touhou "magician trio" (Marisa, Alice and Patchouli) that was deleted while similar ones were kept. I'll avoid making the pool for now because it seems the rules on character collection pools are a bit unclear.
