If you check older threads on the forum, including the previously mentioned threads about the futanari tag, you’ll notice that attempts to change long-established tags is almost always met with resistance. Resistance increases with how vocal the attempt to change the tag is. This is especially true if the user hasn’t contributed much else to the site before and/or the user’s goal is to change a tag’s use to fit their own specific preferences.

Compared to many other sites out there on the Internet, I’d say arguments on Danbooru are quite tame on average.

Danbooru doesn’t focus on futanari content. Maybe you should look for a more targeted site if this one doesn’t suit your needs.

If you do want to change the use of the futanari tag, read through the old threads about it and address the concerns and problems mentioned in there.

I have been around on other sites and your be surprised to hear the results:
"We dont care, nobody looks at that tag anyway" - Site 1
"Nobody actually uses it, we just let the bots tag it" - site 2
"its what Danbooru does" - Mostly Everywhere elce

The reason this thread was opened was because i didnt want to make any mistakes (i already had)
Taking my tag edit number as a membership token is pretty shallow and missguided IMO.

I cant help but feel kinda hated here.
Im not sure if its the tone or what, but i dont feel welcome at all.
Im sorry, i guess.. maybe i should just leave.

It's your tone that's the issue here. Your repeated degrading statements against other sites and this site in particular has not won you any friends, and instead of switching tactics and acting more congenially, you have amped up the derision and negative tactics as seen just from the snippet I quoted above.

Lurk more, read the forum more (especially topic #6690), and remember that honey draws in more flies than vinegar. Policy on this site is moved by persuasion, and civil discourse always works best in that aspect. However, even with the most winning argument things may not go your way. It happens. Move on. That's how discussions work.

My tone has been neutral or atleast that has been the intent. how you recieved it is up to you.
Since i dont know anybody yet, i dont see why i should honey my words any more than normal. I give what i recieve and since i have no grounding here yet the default state is neutral.

To belittle me because of my opinion and claim that the requirements to be even listened to is a basically a number that i can not change because i dont want to do it wrong is... well wrong?
I have felt ridiculed and outcast...
Take this line, "Thats more disapointing to me than it should be" I felt let down, like my goal (tagging) was pointless.
Add the fact that i was basically insulted for my fetish, this might be why i am still neutral...or even negative...

If i was angry i would directly insult, is i was trying to be nasty i would be.
My "degrading statements" on other sits is an opinion i have formed by their actions and communication. A Review, if you will.

I even attempted 3 jokes, "Need i say more?", "The math! just doesnt add up!!!" and "Well my points still stand, just on 1 foot now..."
just breezed over.(it seems...)
*sigh*...If it helps, reread everything as if i was an old man who trecked miles upon miles and thought he finally found "the place" but was disapointed and let down at the door. Hahaha.

That aside i feel everything got off on the wrong foot, while i feel i havent had the most.. gleaming introduction, ha. Im up for a redo.

The written form of communication loses all context and nuance normally communicated via intonation and non-verbal communication. This is why words matter, and why it always needs to be considered how your words will be received by the audience. Likewise, it's equally as important to read into other's prose for this subtext in order to determine how your words are being received.

To be fair, your OP was alright, and I and a few others were genuinely trying to help you at that point. Also, some users did respond to the perceived negativity with negativity themselves which didn't help with the escalation of the situation.

Just my two red cents, but it might be better to let things lie for a while and cool off.
