Since chokers are considered closely fitting necklaces it would seem that they should have the same implication to jewelry.

And as a general tagging principle we could consider that necklaces are "loose-fitting necklaces" and chokers "close fitting necklaces" so that both share the same basic tagging conventions and implicatoins.

Chokers are often made out of fabric. Metal chokers do exist but gemstones, beads and shells are very rarely used for them.

Which is why I'd consider them as neckwear, but this bulk was already approved without a further discussion in the other topic....
