This is in the same vein as the yellow_hair -> blonde_hair alias, with armor typically being depicted as gold instead of yellow.

So you would tag a red bikini_armor with both red_bikini and red_armor?

Also -1 to this alias. Gold has a shiny look on it, while simple yellow has not.

I mean, it wouldn't be incorrect, it's armour and a bikini, I suppose it's kinda like how a red ribbon could be tied into a red bow. But save for that example, coloured armour otherwise wouldn't be searchable, though I guess that's already the case since the colour tags are underpopulated.

I guess the vast majority of armor is just grey or black, so yeah. I thing if they are part of something, then it should be like this:
armored boots + black_footwear.
Well, I'm wary of creating color tags because they are more or less subjective and they are probably hardly searched, anyway. And colored_armor tags are not really populated. Not even red_armor eliabeth_bathory_(brave)_(fate) has much results.

I think it would get awkward with that when it's just something like spaulders or even breastplate. I'm just saying that armour is unique enough to warrant it's own colour tags, though I wouldn't be opposed to armored boots and maybe gauntlets being generalised to the *_boots and *_gloves tags like you suggested.

I agree, I myself rarely search for colour-specific tags (usually when I'm trying to identify a character with unique clothing).
