Loli or just flat_chest?

Posted under General

I found the old locked thread - but I still find it very irritating that loli pics (as post #299206 - norimaki_arale ) aren't tagged as lolicon.

Facts: For the ones that don't know anything about Dr. Slump - Arale is a "robot" that was meant to be a sexy maid but that was turned by accident into a CHILDISH form.

So why isn't there a loli or lolicon tag there?

If I recall these sources correctly at least several flat_chest images are mistagged.

That's not loli... That one is not depicted sexually. On danbooru, those should get tagged as child. Tagging is done per image, not per character. Regardless whether or not the character is intended for sexual favors, as long as the image is not depicted so, then it should be tagged accordingly -- to reiterate, in this case, tagged as child, and flat_chest.

You're really sure about this?! Opening the pyjama shirt (while not wearing pants), being nude/naked chest, implied breast, looks childish, erotic magazines & posters in the background... if that girl in the center had bigger boobs, it would be "usual" etchi. So that's typical lolicon in this case.

Then tag them.

I'd love to. But as you can see it doesn't seem to be that easy.

I'm Chinese, so my subjective point of view is based on whether or not any of the "3 points" (2 breast tips, and 1 genital) are exposed, or whether or not the character is physically having intercourse (with human, animal, demon, toy, etc. etc.). Of course, common sense with things like bondage with cloth on, giving head to someone, etc. which makes image automatically qualify for explicit rating, so automatically convert to loli...

Since the image in question doesn't have any physical exposure, and is not having intercourse, it makes more sense to be child than loli... at least to me, anyways.

If you live in countries such as some in SE Asia, where having images of children doing anything even remotely suggestive will result in free trip to rape box, then you probably should steer clear of any image posting sites all together... But aside from that, there's really not a whole lot of problem with taggings...

What are they called in Chinese?

Well, depends, like English, there are several ways to call different body parts... especially those related to sex...

The breast tips are formally called 乳首 (literal translation means tip of breast), the dark shaded part is usually called 乳暈 (literal translation means dark shads of breast)... genitals depends on gender, and I don't know what's the official formal terms (immigrated to Canada since Gr 5, didn't exactly had sex ed yet)... Ordering from what I personally think is most formal or correct to what is least formal, these are people online usually calls them 陰道 (private passage, female only), 陰莖 (private tendon, male only). 私處 (private location), 弟弟/妹妹 (little brother/sister), 下面 (bottom/lower part), 穴 (hole, obviously with bad connotation), or a bunch of others...

Hope that's semi educational enough and is what you're looking for... but wtf am I doing spending time talking about privates... orz

Ah... actually, when you said "the 3 points", I hoped there might be a set expression in Chinese for referring to all three. Like 三民主義 or 武漢三鎮, but for body parts. :(

Oh, you meant single expression for that... no, its not anything that fancy... just literally 三點... heh, sorry to disappoint you :)

Oh c'mon. She's neither depicted being particularly childish OR suggestive. Especially if you take into account the relative standards of what is the average visual age in manga/anime. Not loli by any measure.
