EDIT: The tag implication thick_eyebrows -> eyebrows has been rejected by @Type-kun.

I think this once was the case according to topic #5437 but was removed later on in topic #13025.

The eyebrows wiki does say to tag eyebrows if the 'character's eyebrows are unusually thick or otherwise stand out from the norm', practically pointing to the thick_eyebrows tag as an example and to others under 'See also' (also worth mentioning the short eyebrows tag) which pretty much cover the 'stand out from the norm' part. The tag seems redundant in my opinion ever since the implications to it were removed as it is no longer an umbrella tag.

Perhaps the eyebrows wiki should change to something like:

For when the eyebrows of the character are unusually realistic or detailed or emphasis is placed on them such as being zoomed in on.

Or we could just remove it entirely since the other eyebrow tags cover its current wiki definition...

The implication was already removed once, so I'm not gonna resurrect it. As for the usefulness of eyebrows, it would probably require a separate topic, since it'll be a major tag nuking if it happens.

Sorry for the necro, but having gone through some tagging with characters with thick eyebrows, may I suggest the following:

Eyebrows: for eyebrows that are more than just a thin line and adopt the hair colour of the character, but still 'thinner' than character's eyelashes
Thick_eyebrows: for unusually thick cases, often exceeding the thickness of the character's eyelashes

I'm using eyelashes as the boundary because, from observation, the proportional difference often ties in with that and has been a good rule of thumb for me.

I've been cultivating sketch_eyebrows lately for that type. I think we should have such a tag and thick_eyebrows etc but not an eyebrows tag. I think we could have a notable_eyebrows or eyebrows_focus tag, or just a pool for well-drawn brows

Instead of sketchy, how about Linear_Eyebrows or Thin_Eyebrows?

The reason for this is because it looks like line-thin eyebrows are very common in both sketches and fully coloured / finished works, and the preceding the tag's title with 'Sketchy' may impart that the tag be only used strictly for sketches only.

Either way, it seems like there will be some work required to separate eyebrow posts into the new tag, notable_eyebrows and proper thick_eyebrows, then eliminate the eyebrows tag. 43k posts and counting, yikes!
