Making 2 new Kantai Collection pools: what do you think?

(The category is General, right? I'm relatively new to the forum)

Figured from the "how to: pools" page that I should go here first.

So I have ideas of making 2 Kancolle pools, like these:

1) Kantai Collection - The Survivors (relevant pixiv tag; other relevant tag)
Images depicting the ship (girls) that survived WW2. The theme "they survived" has to be present; like post #2119908 or post #2060442
(Sometimes this could extend to those who survived before the Bombing of Kure like post #2181443)

2) Kantai Collection - Kaga Bullying 5thCarDiv (relevant pixiv tag)
Similar to pool #7431. Stemming from one of Kaga's lines: "Don't lump me together with the 5th Carrier Division's kids." At the start of the war the 5thCarDiv (especially the pilots) were amateurs compared to the 1stCarDiv's. Thus Kaga's like a senior bullying her juniors.

It's better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission. In this case, I think you had a good idea that nobody commented on because they figured you'd do it anyway. So, do it anyway.

Creating simple pools like “X characters together” is frowned upon (yes, those do exist regardless), but if a certain theme must be present that cannot easily be replaced with tags, it’s usually fine.

Could’ve sworn we had that already... Maybe check the pool search again before you create it.

That’s a dangerous suggestion. Things like mass removing tags by yourself are considered vandalism that’s not easily forgiven. It’s good to ask first if you plan anything non-trivial and see if someone objects. As long as nobody objects, you don’t need explicit permission, so go ahead.

In case of pools, unless you create dozens of useless pools, the worst that can happen is that your pool gets deleted and you wasted some time.

Oh, looks like it's newly made.

And well, I guess I'll just make the other pool and see what happens. (Not now though)
