Appeal for a new "rough" tag

Since the rough tag is already aliased to sketch, I think its definition should be clear?

Rough = Sketch

I'm not very sure of what you mean by that, but rough illustrations aren't necessarily sketches, as Hillside Moose told me an image can have rough elements and not be considered a sketch on topic #14053.

For no subjectivity, there could be a concrete description of what makes an illustration rough (making the last example worthy of the tag), such as a more objective version of what I wrote on the original post.

Subjective isn't the same as "poorly defined". No matter what you do to clarify the description of this tag, you still have to deal with the fact that what makes an image "rough" is ultimately a matter of opinion. This is the same reason why tags like sexy and cute aren't allowed - there are too many differences in opinion about what actually constitutes "sexy" or "cute". Even if you do manage to come up with a rigorous definition, you're essentially taking one person's opinion and trying to make it the standard for everybody.

While the distinctly stylized pictures that I linked or at least extreme cases like post #2724055 can't be filtered from the majority of uploaded illustrations (that don't have this rough style), there is an undeniable limitation to the filtering system of this website. So you're suggesting there is no possible solution to this limitation?

Yup. Leave it as is.

As with my first concern, we can't trust users to keep application of the tag consistent across the gallery, so it's better to not have it at all rather than argue where it belongs or doesn't belong. Tags should serve purposes as objectively as possible. This isn't counting metatags (such as tagme/*_request), of course.
