Since the tag trap has been changed to otoko_no_ko, replace reverse_trap with onna_no_ko will be a good idea...

Eeeeeeeeh... You do realize though, that "onna no ko" is literally "girl" in Japanese, right? I mean, the only reason "otoko no ko" works as a pun is because "ko" itself can be either 娘 (girl, read as musume, ko) or 子 (child, read as ko). The pun doesn't really work the other way, since there's nothing that drops in for "ko" to sound like a man.

So it's not a good idea. In fact, it would be incredibly confusing to have to use a tag for a nonexistent term, with a nonexistent pun.

It's fine. I understand the goodwill behind such a suggestion, but it's just not a great idea. As for why otoko no ko is used instead of trap, well... it's explained there in the wiki page. I'll be rejecting this implication.

Ah, so it looks like there is a Japanese pun for "onna no ko", though using the "o" in "onna" rather than "ko".

Huh, that's also new to me. For all the time I've spent around Japanese stuff I've never seen those terms until now.

They sound pretty awkward though...

I'd jumped the gun back then, but given our use of wikis, aliases, and generally English, I don't think it would be too hard a shift for users if we implemented whatever, if any, term is most used for "reverse trap" and explain its generic use, specific pun, and specific Danbooru usage; with the upload bookmarklet, long as we use the particular spelling for the concept, we'd largely avoid any "girl"-or-"girl" confusion, right?
