    Got five of them. That MIGHT be Estinien to Alphinaud's immediate left, given the hair color and pointy-looking ear, but it's not enough for me to be certain.

    - Cid and Nero; at their right, sun bro Magnai, Sadu, and waifu Cirina

    Identified 3. Estinien is indeed being cheeky to the left of Alphinaud. The lupin next to Gosetsu is Hakuro, and the Namazu with the different eyes is Seigetsu the Enlightened.

    There are four I can't identify and who I don't think can be/don't have names: the Buduga bros plotting behind Hien, a pair of miqo'te that are walking away above Hien's right arm, past the lantern. And the purple-haired man below Yugiri. I pondered that last one being Asahi, but the artist is pretty good of making the hair colors consistent.

AL is not a vassal of history. If I have to say "where did history go", then I would like to say where "your as an ordinary person with at least a normal mind and no epilepsy" history has gone.

    Its no more 1 to 1 history the instant they renamed their factions. Ironblood's lack of nazism, Sardegna being pretty much Rome x the Vatican, and Iris being hinted to be a theocratic monarchy are the biggest clues. And you have the alt history China.
    And I am fine with it.

    Alsace (and Lorraine) was occupied by germany for 40 years and switched between France and germany multiple times. So Alsace as an Iris girl with a touch of Iron blood is a awesome detail for me

    What does the region of Alsace has to do with a warship called Alsace? If Alsalce herself was captured by the germans or being designed using german BP as inspiration that would make more sense.

    I can see what you're saying, but if the artists kept going with similar designs, it would end up being repetitive. I'd say this is one of the coolest designs ever, never judge a book by it's cover.
