Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think it's really dumb that people feel the need to infuse politics into absolutely everything anymore...

Well, I agree with you. I look at animé waifus so that I DON'T have to be reminded how much life sucks for other people.

You can say whatever you will about Laishuro, but you can’t deny that Laios having an unrequited crush is the most hilarious explanation possible for their whole deal.

In one of the extras (Trying to find a link to it is very difficult) involving a magic mirror that swaps the characters genders (A Mirror World you could say...), female Shuro has a crush on Laios instead of Fallin so it might not be entirely unrequited...

I don't want to be rude, but why do gringos love Palestine so much? I hope someone answers me genuinely, on Twitter everyone insults me, but from my perspective they should support Israel, I mean, I do and my country has nothing to do with the conflict, it makes me very curious.

It's the same kids who blindly support BLM and thought George Floyd was some sort of a "saint" (even trough objectively, he was a criminal, you can google it)

It's ironic how majority of them are LGBT yet in Gaza they wouldn't make it out alive for being LGBT.

Standing against injustice and genocide isn't some kind of transactional arrangement wherein queer folks expect Palestinians to support them in return. Shocking as it may seem, some people are actually willing to live by their principles even when they don't stand to directly benefit from it. I'm sorry for anyone who is too hopelessly cynical to understand this.

Also, what the fuck do BLM and George Floyd have to do with anything in this post? Apart from fitting the general theme of how your comment history is weirdly focused on black people, that is.

I understand why people have such strong feelings about this and Israeli policy towards Palestinians has long been pretty fucked up... but what does One Piece have to do with it?

People like to see the characters they care about and the principles they believe in, in alignment. That's pretty much it. Not too complicated.

I'm not upset about hamas losing a war they started by killing toddlers. I am however upset for any civilians on either side (including those toddlers) getting caught up in this. I don't know which side is in the right, but it definitely isn't hamas.
